Mr G's not impressed, the rain was torrential at that point.
Haha, first time for me on Firbank fell and despite the overdose of mud I thoroughly enjoyed it. Then again, I did manage to just about get to my car before the hail began...
Quick thanks in particular to Giggleswick School for flagging the route for us today and providing such wonderful facilities. I nearly fell over sideways when i saw the toilets, and then nearly fainted when i was hit by the tropical blast of warm air on my way in. There's a lot to be said for good facilities at a fell race, good work Helm Hill.
I had to laugh when I saw Mr Breeze walking back to the race HQ - to get a copy of the results!
Whitestone next week, from what i remember there'll be about enough stodge for you there.
You've forgotten that I'm doing the cross country at Golden Acre.
