Just wondering what the FRA safety committee would make of this one?
No kit...at all! Where would you fix your number?

Do what you like, like what you do
If it had been Haslingden instead of Orpington I'd have suggested we all enter. A 5k streak? Why not? Mind you, £10 for 5k is a bit steep.

I say good for them. We tend to titter at organised nudity in this country. Perhaps I'm only being this grown-up about it because I can't immediately think of any good innuendos.
Some good replies here,
Frankly I'm a fan of minimal clothing when racing, although I do prefer to keep my shorts on!
I think I remember reading somewhere that competitors in early fell races ran naked, so are we ignoring the roots of the sport by insisting on lots of kit?

Don't forget there was a naked fell race in the peak 5 or 6 years ago called the Streak in the Peak..
Good turn out..fortunately it was misty but there was minimum kit to carry..
There was even a vimeo of the race which I can't find....
RO was forumites Jodg.
It keeps coming up...ooer that we should re run the race...no ladies record yet..?

I thought I stumbled over a Naturist race today..!!!!
Whilst driving to the A66 from the newly opened Pooley Bridge "bridge" I passed 4 blokes completely naked jogging along side the road...They didn't look like racers, possibly squaddies or a group doing a dare but all they had on was a smile and trainers....was it any one off here..?
Wasn't me. I did a 30 mile Fellsman recce with just Walshes and a smile, err, possibly
