Want to have a go at it 2008 walked it last week with the wife not exact run course but near. a fairly steady 9 hours no snags burger/coffee at viaduct sightseeing etc. recommend walk as a pre rec. camped in horton night before had few drinks. registered in cafe for walk 7 am thru letter box. cheers.
When do they start taking entries for this or is it open already.
I recon online entry october it says late autumn on 3 p. site but forms ive not seen yet.

There's this on the website, which I presume you've seen.
We anticipate that online entries for the event will open in late autumn 2007 and close in March 2008.

Cheers fellas, looks like i've naievely overlooked the entry requirements, i'll need to do 2 FRA cat AM, AL, BL races to enter. From your experience, is this achievable for someone returning to off-road running (never entered a fell race previously) after a year absence, good level of basic fitness (I can plod all day!), willing to train like I've never trained before!
Any particular FRA races I should enter to get the pre-requisits?
