Whilst out looking for fox cubs on the high fells of the Yorkshire Dales, last spring, I heard a sound that I couldn't identify, until I saw the badger action on the far side of the hanging valley I was lying in. A sow badger was moving a cub to a new sett. I'm not sure how long this had been going on for but the cub did appear tired, and kept on lagging behind. Eventually the new sett was reached, not before the cub was literally dragged by the scruff of its little neck down the steep fell side to its new home.
(due to poor sound quality there is no audio until the clip where the cub cries)
