knowing Jack, he probably cycled or even ran to Edale for the race. and back again. it appears from the splits that he either blew up or gave up half way around. still, if I had half the talent he has I'd be delighted.

He didn't look to be worth many pints as I passed him at Coffin Rock on Sunday...
