What about the previous CBI DG Digby Jones? Similar but more impressive credentials. I'm sure you would endorse his opinion over the current DG's as he had double the time as head and he's also served as a Minister of State for Trade and a UK Ambassador for Trade and Investment.

I'm sure Stolly and I can embrace this common ground - Digby Jones for PM. That will fix everything for sure.

Does this relate to your post yesterday about something the Director General of the CBI said on Radio 4? If so that's very odd because I don't remember commenting on them. This on the grounds that I'd not actually heard what she'd said.
