I suppose, given that everyone on here is a fell runner (of sorts), all the Brexit protagonists could accidently come together one day at, say, the urinals of some big fell race and then continue this Forum debate face to face, so to speak.

Although, given the reluctance of some posters to reveal their true selves - would they even know?

Well Richard whilst I wouldn't wish to bruise your ego (I rarely attempt the impossible ) top fell runners have never been known to waste their time posting on the Forum, so "of sorts" is a fairly safe description.

However if eg Oracle is now revealed to be a current multi-Championship, international mountain runner then I may have to asterix my description to allow for this exception.

But in all modesty...

I have to admit on a recent run, a bystander did indeed confuse me with a “runner” since that is the description they used as I passed. It is true that it is a description which is borderline going up hill, and it is a description that I now consider flattering!

Meanwhile , I have just found a compelling argument against EU free movement.

In this far off land I was just attacked by a Yorkshire terrier, which is a breed that should never have been allowed out of Yorkshire, let alone across the channel! Mssr barnier, please note. Jack Russell’s should not be allowed in EU either!
