Pleasant 10 mile plod on fields and trails. Skirted the villages of Thorner and Barwick in Elmet on the outskirts of north east Leeds. Fine evening for it. Saw few people on large stretches of my route.

Today's PDE was a 5 mile walk at dusk with the dogs to Shining Bank Quarry and back. A beautiful still evening and saw 6 roe deer and a few bats but no humans. Nice!
Visibility good except in Hill Fog
Walk again with Mrs WP.
12.2 miles, 1700ft, 4 hours.
Headed south to Tockholes then worked around clockwise to Hoghton Tower, and then Billinge Woods to the North of Witton then back home.

Had a bimble up to the standing stone and back, about 7 miles, my legs were knackered on the climb up - this government enforced daily exercise regime is hard, I think OAPs should be allowed one day a week off. Walking with Missus tomorrow.
Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.
9.5 miles, 2,700 ft, over and around Loughrigg, mainly on grassy trods. Not many about, some needed reminding to keep to one side of the road/tracks. It is said some tourists have arrived in Ambleside today. Hope not, but it would seem it is true.
42 miles, 4200 feet (such symmetry!) and I probably saw 420 cyclists.
Riding through a deserted Burnsall it occurred to me that with pubs/cafes/car parks/gift shops & etc closed - why would anyone wish to visit in a car?
