12yrs a slave on C4 tonight.
Apart from walking the dogs, a lazy day today which included watching 4 hours of cycling highlights on Eurosport.
First up was yesterdays final stage of the Binck Bank Tour followed by todays Liege-Bastogne- Liege, both of which contained some fantastic racing.
Lastly was todays 2nd stage of the Giro d'italia which was not fantastic but enjoyable all the same if not for the scenery.
When watching the Giro, and the upcoming Vuelta, I am always fascinated by the standard of the main roads and the magnificent bridges that these races pass over. At least I can see where some of my taxes have gone.
But not for much longer, thank goodness.
Visibility good except in Hill Fog
Sir Hugh Munro and munro-bagging, presented by Nick Crane: excellent photography, including some in proper Scottish weather, and an ascent of the Inn Pinn. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00...DYed38Ph4sMEVQ
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.
Jorge Luis Borges
Programme about the ultra-runner Donnie Campbell, as he creates a new record time for running all 282 Munros.
BBC Scotland tonight at 7pm.

Just enjoyed watching the first programme in this years series of Autumnwatch, despite Chris Packham.
Really looking forward to seeing what Iolo comes up with this year whilst based at the CAT in Mid Wales.
What a wonderful island we live on!

I really rate Iolo, but can't watch the series because I would throw the tv out the window soon as CP comes on.
The end is nigh
Autumn watch brilliant as always, including Chris Packham (weird but in a good way). Tentsmuir Forest and the dunes, where Michaela Strachan is, looks completely stunning
