I land on the outside of my forefoot and roll through the heel kiss before taking off on the opposite side, the big toe in other words. As I understand it this is how anyone who has never worn shoes will run to absorb as much shock as possible, so that is what I modelled my new style on.
I think you're plenty fast enough as you are anyway. If you're clutching at straws just fill your shed with GM beetroots.
