Roast duck, with most of the veg from the garden. The duck was one of this years drakes that was "surplus to requirements", afraid I knocked him on the head 3 days ago, plucked and eaten tonight. But he had a good year, free range with lots of women till the end.

Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.
Pike: the first time I've seen that at our fishmonger's. My wife cooked it in a black pepper sauce with some ginger: really good. Also rice and stir-fried vegetables (leek, Brussels sprouts, red and yellow peppers).
