Having watched the new series of Mastermind and getting over 50% of the general knowledge questions correct I was wondering whether I was getting brighter in my old age or if Mastermind was dumbing down.
Half an hour later, following Only Connect, I got my answer.
Mastermind is dumbing down and I am still thick!

I was quite good at the missing vowels round, at least in the early stages of the competition.
They dumb it right down for celebrity editions. Xmas UC still seems quite hard, Durham won a match the other night with 85pts or something
