Overcast, no distinct cloud base - the fells just faded with distance. Constant light to moderate rain. A very strong wind from the south west. Terrain saturated and slippery. I wasn't cold, despite the wind, but of course I had all over waterproof kit on. Only two others seen whilst I was out, and they were low down.
