The standard 50m today, but went up the cow and calf then down into Burley instead of the A65. Took my OMM smock with me to keep the rain out. On the 11, 12, 13th August there will be an original WW2 bouncing bomb on display at the craven arms. I have gotten the details from David; it's coming on the back of a wagon, it's the size of a transit van, nobody knows what is inside it, but David says if we don't cough near it we should be okay. David doesn't know if it has a fuse in it. There was a Vickers tank factory in Leeds, so having been assembled by Vickers themselves, the bomb might be a loiner. I can't wait to see this thing.
I've found that spinning up the pedals in a low gear going uphill is closer to running uphill than just grinding away at a low cadence. It feels better too.
