Overcast, with the cloud base at about 600 feet. Visibility down to 100 feet at times. Almost constant drizzle/light rain; a moderate breeze from the south east. Terrain saturated/streaming/very slippery. Very few people on the fells - I saw about a dozen walkers and 4 runners; there were 2 more runners in the valley.
