Well it is hard to say I enjoyed the race but I ran far better than expected and was certainly pleased with a result in the middle of the field. I've not raced since the LDMT and runs have been reduced to one 8-10km run a week since Christmas as I try to overcome my ongoing hip problems. Thankfully Mount Famine has plenty of ups and downs and was only the last km or so of flat out running that was noticeably painful.
Otherwise felt pretty good although the heat, humidity and that last climb contrived to make it a tough one.
1 hour 12 mins and 46th place. Will definitely do this again hopefully when I'm fitter and would love to do the 3 days in May too.
