Actually reading you post inspired me to get off my lard arse and exercise these flabby thighs just now. Popped on the mudclaws and went up and down Shire Hill then round Mossy Lea, very icy and snowy, in the fading light. Only 35 mins, went very very very slowly to avoid rib jaring. But it wasnt too bad - so thanks
I get very downhearted when I can't properly exercise. I think it does more for my mind than my body.

Got finished work sharpish like and went to the local park where we have miles measured out for reps. Did 4x 1mile. Average 5:21 which is my fastest since return to proper training. Good sign. Bit of a sore calf though - hope it's nowt. Dont want to be posting in 'todays injuries'
No running tomorrow TF. Haven't cycled for nearly 2 weeks so will do Turbo thingy or nowt.
Big training weekend ahead.

Thursday: lunchtime 6 miles hilly off road (mud, bits of snow and ice), evening 5 miles road (a bit of up and down fairly chilly).
