Being very basic in the computing terms and even worse with forums, I will post photo's when I work out how to do it.
Any help / suggestions (constructive) gratefully received.

The 2hrs 29 mins for the long route I am going to assume, unless someone can confirm different, that the guy registered for long but ran the short.

IanDarkpeak, grid reference for the LTP near 1894 stone was about 12.6 metres out.
Try better next time.
Took Brent on Sunday morning to LTP, hand stone on Barrow Stones and to the source of the river Derwent.
A glorious morning out.

You're complaining about a grid ref being out 12 m out Perhaps the modern technology you were using was 12 m out!!!

I might try for the Source tommorrow and some other LTP's there are two between Barrow and Grinah

Entries are now being taken for the 2008 "Grin and Bear It" which will be run on Saturday 4th October

The event is run by 'Three-Six-Zero' the funding group for Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team who will be manning the checkpoints.

It incorporates a 15 mile, 1950ft fell race and a 23 mile challenge walk/run.

There is an improved route for the 23 miler I believe but I'll confirm that tonight and post tommorrow.

Please support this if you can and mention it on club Websites etc.

Also included is at no cost is the knowledge that the money will go to help people in distress on the hills and you get to shout at IDP and Plumbum

I sent my entry form off on Friday, i'm looking forward to it.

I've mentioned it a few times on http://www.fetcheveryone.com and I think its one of the fell races in the Handsworth Roadhogs club Championship too. So should get a bit of support from there.

I can confirm the long route remains the same as last year. There will be quite a few Peniston, Dark Peak and Barnsley Harriers there also.

Im going to have a crack at this. I dont race this sort of distance usually and i think i could do with mileage,plus i want to do Pendle later in the year.

Posted off my entry fee a few weeks ago and was looking forward to it having ran it for the first time last year.

Yesterday found out that I have to do a pickup from M'ster airport on the morning so might well miss out.....
