Yeah sorry I was not being cocky saying do I need to train for this. Im not taking it likely, what I meant to say was do I need to train specifically ie follow an ultra running plan.

When you say refuel regularly, is the food provided at regular intervals like a typical LDWA event or do we have to look after ourselves?

jamie get a couple of long days in say 4 hrs running then 4 hrs walking
we have no time for a training plan mate
if it gets heavy i can always get amanda to pick us up , no shame in cutting it short but i think we will be okay.
foodwise we will carry some but im sure there will be loads at the checkpoints mate

it's supplied J but if you look at a post from Ian (FSS) he says get used to eating at the refueling stops as oppose to lugging loads of your own and to be honest that last one we did I made loads and took it along but only ate at the stations!! Kind of didn't bother whilst on the move well except for the date/bon bon mix

probably doing a long one sunday if you fancy??? was gonna do withins but need those hours on the feet now

mind you out saturday watching the rugby so that may be revised!!

I'm on easy week this week, I'm out in Liverpool saturday watching the derby then watching Ash at the Academy.

So heavy weekend, I wont even feel like a runner sunday morning. Do you ever feel like that. When you think "god how did I manage that"

I'm thinking about doing this. Jamie we will chat about it next weekend, but food is the key, grab as much as you can and keep going. Don't get pulled in to racing the first 20 miles, just plod at your pace, if you feel good then pickit up a bit, if not just keep going. I bet it's easier than four hours Christmas shopping in 'Meadowhell'

Any one got an idea of what time they will do it in
