They're both (very conveniently!) at Leicester Uni (1st year and final year respectively)

Yes, Shepheards is a good race. I was there last year and managed to do a sweet little dive about 400yds from the finish Thought I'd shattered both knee caps (the run in is a lot muddy and a fair bit of rocky too). Stringman saw me fall and gave me lots of support...something about getting up promptly I recall; though with a certain degree of colloquial phraseology

I hope you both have a good race (...by the way...when is your first race going to be. I'm sure I recall Stagger announcing it was going to be this year... )
