As a pony who wears his shorts OVER lycra for very good reasons, AND indulges in activites other than fell races, (even doing one tomorrow), I feel I should have a look at this DVD... what am I missing?

If as I suspect it's to hide the outline, why bother wearing lycra?

You can ask the man who spoke the words himself at Shepherds Skyline later...

Here we go again. We're getting back to the foundation garment discussion...

A lesser man might be offended by the mere suggestion of cellulite... but not I. The lycra masks and supports that which lies beneath, but cellulite it is not

As for the DVD, I didn't realise it was a BG thing. Got to be worth a look.

Langley 7 hilly road race today. As Macc Lad put it, it'd be a fell race if it wasn't on tarmac. Virtually starts in my front garden, so it'd be rude not to do it

    Re: Fell Ponies??

    Mission accomplished.

In brief, a good run with a bit of chat; a bit of banter and passed a few towards the end.

As I thanked a marshall for giving up his time to help the race happen, a purposeful looking young filly light heartedly said "If you can talk, you're not trying hard enough!"

With that, I resolved to sit on her shoulder (metaphorically, not like a parrot) and passed her with a mile to go... no smug malice (for 'tis not the way of the pony), just responded to her advice.

Well, chuff me, if I didn't then pass a few more on the way down...

I don't know if I managed a PB, but I probably knocked a minute or two off last year's time, which was a big improvement on the year before.

All in all, a good run. Who needs to be a thoroughbred?

Hope t'other ponies had a good run out?

Right, where did I leave those cakes...

    Well done Lantern!

There were 5 Ponies at the Shepherds Skyline.

Nice to meet Fleeter who i saw finishing very strongly

Mrs Crumbly messed up her nice outfit by falling 3 times and Amex and Mr Crumbly came down neck and neck for the final furlong.

Met Tussockface too but i probably didnt make much sense to him as i always talk gibberish after a race

It was Amex's birthday i let him buy me a pint of Shandy (its probably supposed to be the other way round ) and i still feel a bit wobbly after it
