it really is an amazing publication
i paid £3.70 for trail on friday
the fellrunner is worth a fiver at least , it amazes me how some people dont think joining the FRA is vaue for money.
i think reg baker's 5000th clougha pike epic is excellent

Reg is a top bloke. I have bumped into him on a number of his 5000 ascents of Clougha. He is also usually to found handing out mars bars somewhere between Red Burn and the summit at the Ben Nevis race.
I did have to have a word with him one year though when the tight bastard was only handing out bite sized bars
Borrowed it off a mate, first time I've read it, impressed and I'll join the FRA just for that as it's worth it for the subscription.
have any of you read Summit?
Looking at them the BMC Summit mag and Fellrunner must be about the 2 best magazines out there in the outdoor mag genre, way better than Trail, TGO, etc IMO. Any plans to sell it in shops or at least on line, or do you think it would affect FRA membership? The BMC mag is also only available to members (as far as I know), but I reckon that would sell well too.
I have not got mine what is going on????????????????????
Going to try again....
Again, really well put together. A very professional job! superb photo's.
Well done Britta.
Has anyone else noticed, however, there is a glaring ommission - I've never known it before in The FR, never mind any other mag !!!!!
No letters page... maybe no-one writes these days ?
