Er.. that joke of the week is really, really not worth it.

On a seperate matter it looks like I've got 'clearance Clarence'* for the full tour of Pendle and, to use an Americanism, my fell ponies vest will be formally 'losing its cherry'.

* Extract from Airplane:

Eeeehh, what a bloody race that is!? To a newcomer such as myself, it really is a challenge to stay upright through the slurry and cattle divots on the way back... you really don't want to be falling in all that slurry before getting a lift in the Crumblies squeaky clean SAAB!

Bit sore today, and the cramp was rough towards the end, but chuffed with a PB. albeit, the transition from slowest (almost) to just very slow! But hey, it's progress!

Hats off to Amex. To have done what you did on the Saturday, and then complete that race is a busy weekend! Just after you slid past me on Shutlingsloe, I accidentally slid down after you, but it was that steep I didn't really fall on my arse, more of a lean back and gracefully slide down for several yards. It was still the last I saw of you. On that pic of you on the pony site, you look as though you have scared the manure out of the timekeeper!

Master, the cakes were quite something but there'll be a next time.
