I'm in - better start training!

I think that they have reserved 100 places for overseas entries as defined by having an address overseas.

Yeah it'll be cancelled in 2009 because only about 14 people enter.

That's the year I'm doing Ben Nevis because there won't be many there either.

It was only a few years ago they were struggling to get people to enter (less that 250). It was made a championship race again and it has now been fully subscribed each year since.

I bet the governing body will be livid when they find out 95% of the places have been taken by brits.

I seem to remember reading some where that a certain number of entries are held back for overseas entries , in which case it must be nearly full.

    Can any one confrim this?

So far no sign of Ian Holmes or Rob Jebb on the list. It would be a reet farce if Britains best fellrunners miss out actually Out of the top 10 runners last year only 2 are on the list and with not many places left. I think online entry makes it all too easy. I hope I'm not injured like I was for other races I had to pre enter well early as I was going to not get an entry

In the past the top 10 finishers have always been invited back, so I don't think they will have a problem.
