Jamie - we WILL be reet!! fret not - you can still carry my bag if you want though?
I was TRYING to reassure jamie that he needn't worry as we haven't been doing any monster mileage and he'll be reit and you go and let the cat the out the bag.....which is now no doubt running away from your mad dog!!!!!

jamie i think you can safely say that there will be plenty of walking on this one.
if my legs give up im going to blame emmi for sure
she had better hope she can carry lots of food for me or that 100miler next year is out the window for sure.
just starting to wonder what madcap event she has planned for the future.

But surely it's better to go round it than in it.

Im running this weekend on the Carneddau range. Very excited never ran in Wales before. Has anyone any insight into what this area is like?
It's very hilly, likely wet, and full of strange people.

I am going Mud Plugging this weekend ready for Round Rotheram, cause there is certain to be plenty of mud there.

Just been to recce the last bit. Thought it might be an idea to know where I'm going when it's dark and I'm tired. It's quite easy to follow actually, but I'm glad I went. The little map things are brilliant! Couple of times I was wondering if I'd gone too far - they're not to scale, but once you get used to it, it's pretty easy to follow. I'd only got a 1:50000 OS map and some of the paths are not marked on it. The written descriptions drive me mad at the best of times. But those little maps are just the biz!! And there are some lovely bits on the route. (just don't mention the industrial estate near the finish...).
