Fell Ponies??

The Ponies started out as a bit of a laugh and i honestly dont see why we should change from that. The fact that there are now 40 of us just makes it more fun and thats what running up and down hills should be....fun.

Anything that detracts from that is an unnecessary complication and affiliating to UKA is definitely on that list....

The general concensus is just get out there and enjoy yersels even if OLD UN needs to dress up , hey each to his own. As Dee Jay says some want well organised clubs and some don't. Keep on Running.

dont know yet Ambrosia ,"still waiting for the pony vest " ,but hopefully i may recieve it by rotherham. but like yourself it will involve a qauntity of xmas pud with lashings of vodka soaked into it. i'm going to a fancy dress party on the night straight after round rotherham as a mexican bandit, i couldnt do the RR. in it ........or could i ????, no it would get muddy and our lass would give me a slapped arse.may sport some type of festive hat for the occasion though......
