i couldnt even eat a gravy pud this morning
It's going to deep and slurpy out there (not unlike lumpy gravy) given the amount of rain we've had recently, more rain forcasted for Saturday but hopefully brightening for Sun.
Went out last night over Kinder and all the paths were streams.

Unfortunately I won't be running on Sunday. Not being 100% and an illness have scuppered my plans.
Just got off the phone to Tanky - he's wondering what the weather will do....never been called off yet!
To my knowledge it has been cancelled at least once in the late 90s because of snow that had fallen about a week before the race. After an inspection of some of the route the snow was deemed to be too deep for it to be sensible to run the race.never been called off yet!
I'm sure someone can assist me with the exact year!
Hmm, I was lamenting the fact that I wouldn't be running the 35th to Tanky this pm and he said that it hadn't been called off yet due to the weather. Any one out there remember/know better?
