    2006: 3hr 20mins for the Skyline
    2007: 3hr 59mins for Tanky's

You'll have no problem getting under 4hrs.

Thanks to all of the race organisers and supporters for their efforts. What a day. Like most people I got dunked on the way up to Black Hill, and had to fish my mate out of Crowden Brook - so there is an advantage to being 13 stone after all!. I also got ambushed by the bog monster on the inappropriately named 5 minuite crossing. The mountain rescue folks at the top of Seal Edge seemed very chirpy - do they have a bottle of something stashed up there?

I was nearly 29 mins quicker on Tanky's as against Edale Skyline this year, and about 10 to 11 mins quicker than Tanky's last year.

Just like to say "Well done!" to all (runners, rescuers & support) for Sunday. I'd heard from a mate who ran it about the stream crossings (i.e. raging torrents) and was, well, a wee bit sceptical. How wrong I was!

Wish I'd taken part but all the signs leading up were not good. Since I read that next year it'll be sunny and dry, put me down for that.
