I did my last long run yesterday a good 6hours in Carnaddau hills, I have never ran over that way. I really enjoyed it, dont ask me what the hills where called but I think one was called Daphid. Think the each of the 7 summits we hit where all over 3000ft.

Loads of fell ponies running around everywhere and a nice shelter for lunch.

Thats it for me now im in the chill zone till next saturday, See you all there.

The R'ham site has a course that you can upload into your Garmin 305. Seems to work well for me (not tried it on the course though).

Hoping that the lurgy subsides before next weekend.

For those of you that have choosen the top notch 5 star overnight accomodation before the race what time you planning on getting there??

Oh and is anyone else now worried about the weather?
Am thinking credit card could be getting a pasting on fri afternoon if it continues to rain like this, not sure my innov8 pac mac thing is good enough for 9-10 hours in the rain!

i never worry about the weather mate
not sure what time im arriving , what are we gonna have to eat , presume we cannot cook in the centre or is it a centre with a hob or grill in, im gonna have to get a small rucksack to carry my chocolate, vaseline, spare socks and water.
seems like the stations will have a fair bit of food and stuff so im not planning on carrying to much food. I will buy some on the way round if need be " must be some shops over 50 miles".
i should get a new coat i suppose as my reliable mountain equipment coat is 5 yrs old and knackered , ive others but they aint waterproof for 9/10 hours

Assuming its just a sports hall and there will be nowt to do wasn't going to get there especially early. Not like we can go to the pub,
Oh back to the point, was going to have a mahussive tea at home and then just a bowl of cereal before bed or summit.....but what about the morning???

porridge , i would need a dump 4 miles in if i had that for brekkie
i have a pocket rocket and plenty of gas so thats no problem

Why cant we go to the pub arnt we allowed ??? we could solve the food issue there aswell.
