battery life is quoted as 10 hrs.

That's a great incentive to crack on with the pace! In theory it sounds reasonable, but I guess a lot depends on the day. The forecast is for rain until Saturday, when it will be "heavy rain". 7 to 9 degrees.

    Oh happy joy.

Basically- wear wellies. [no sheep jokes, please]
It will be very heavy going, I suspect.

    On the bugs front:
    -still full of chest infection
-baby in and out of hospital with bronchiolitis
-2 boys both got nasty dose of croup

Thankfully, daughter and wife are free of it so far.

I'm viewing this week as "enforced taper" without running, and just hope it clears from my chest before Friday. Shame I'm working until 2am every night this week, doing d@mn reports...

Just had an email from the organisor, it just had links to on the web pages and info on sleeping in the hall.

    I'm now into information overload,

I'm walking/running with 3 guys from work (1 being a very enthusiastic Australian). Im not sure we'll be able to keep pace with you guys, I dont want to put pressure on them.

We can all start off together though and see how it goes.

See you friday folks, hope nobody snores.
