13 out this morning but cut short due to puctures and 1 blow out (not me!).
well ive done 4 hrs on the bike, not sure of the mileage but enough
cycled into the peak district , hills hills hills but not so windy today.
plenty of other bikies out as well and only 2 near misses. no cafe stop either

ady dont you use slime tubes, i spent too many years doing punctures , sod the extra weight , i dont get any problems with them
No, don't think many roadies use the slime, mainly a mountain bike thing. The winter tyres now with the kevlar thingy seem pretty good but you always get guys out on tyres that are goosed, hence the puntures. I need some more degreaser spray now which makes cleaning the bike easier - spray it, leave it and then hose it down and give it a quick rub over.
Just used my new juicer for the 1st time, I fed it 2 full apples and it produced a glass of smooth apple juice in like 10 seconds - no bits of skin or owt. Pretty impressed
Now, if I add sugar I could ferment it and make some cider!!
Got some continental ultra gatorskins for me road bike, 2000plus miles so far without a puncture, know many other folk who swear by them
I got some of that free with my last bike, it seems pretty good.
I'm amazed I'm here. At 2pm I ripped the hard drive out of my laptop and installed a new one. Apart from all the fonts on the forum are all wrong I think I'm back up and working. Just need to reinstall all the software now. Always tomorrow when I'm "working from home...."
