    Legs too lactic for the Hebden yesterday (after my first jaunt with local running club on thursday). So did an a 17 mile saunter along the edale skyline today

    Fairfield horseshoe starting at dusk.... Ice rink on the top of fairfield. Bit dicey at times.... Eerie as it got dark looking over to helvellyn. Magic pint of Stella after x

    Are you a nutter? I could hardly walk this morning after Hebden, let alone go for a 17 mile anything!!!

    18 miles on singlespeed crosser. Freezing rain and holwling wind. Off to work tonight for a rest

    7.5 miles tarmac slapping on the hilly streets of Darwen, managed 978ft of climb.

    legs not as tired as I thoguht they would be after the Hebden on Saturday.

    A mere 3.3 miles in a slow 30.48mins almost all on tarmac in wet & windy conditions - only second run since latest calf strain and first since last Friday's 'dreaded lurgy'!!

    All the night runs I do, all the off road running and then after an hours worth of hill reps, i go for a warm down run and turn my ankle on a bl@@dy pothole on a road

    Sat at home with an iced compression bandage on feeling very p1ssed off
