when josh was born the labour went on for ages and ages so much so that i had time to have 2 x dinners in the hospital , fish and chips as i recall, anyway after a long time it was decided that she was to have a c section so off we plodded down to theatre and i got all togged up with the green ER gowns and everything , i was so worried at this point, i specifically remember the consultant saying you okay, do you mind a bit of blood, to which i replied no as i dont as ive seen a bit over the years. The anisthetic went in and they put a board up so AJ couldnt see anything but i watched them cut her open then very quickly they lifted him out and he started screaming, they had to work quick as he had some stuff in his mouth and i thought wow they are amazing people. after they told me i had a son i burst out crying , gave aj the biggest kiss ever and felt like nothing id ever felt before, the elation was amazing. one thing i forgot to do was take my green gowns off as i went outside to our parents which is not allowed.

I know that's what I thought, I was a bit pee'd off with him to be honest - too old indeed - it was one of those "don't you think you should be settling down soon" type conversations
