    Yesterday evening, two badgers running across a road near the town centre. They were heading in the direction of the Grammar School, presumably on their way to dig up one of the beautifully kept lawns or playing fields there.
    In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.

    I was actually in a car, with my son and his girlfriend; she is quite frightened of badgers, with their reputation for sometimes being vicious.
