    Last night's Horizon

Schrodinger's Cat: A proton bouncing around inside a box will eventually contact on a detector and poison the milk a cat is drinking and kill the cat, but seeing as the rules of Quantum Mechanics say it can be in two places at once the cat is simultaneously alive and dead; simultaneously stood up and fallen down. There seems to be more than one way of explaining Scherdinger's Cat, i've only heard the one with the vial of cyanide. I am now simultaneously sat writing this and in the opposite corner of the room.

So how does Quantum Mechanics affect fell running? Well for a start Tom Addison didn't win Dunnerdale because i reached each checkpoint 1 picosecond apart and crossed the line finishing the course in a total time of 5 picoseconds. Most importantly though i am simultaneously a senior member and a master.

Last night's horizon was somewhat indistinct, very misty with rain sweeping across. I foresee tonight's being much the same but maybe we will have some colourful ones by the weekend.

Dunno what you lot are all talking about though!

It's an excellent thread. Both of it.
I have the book 'in search of schrodingers cat' somewhere in the attic.
It may simultaneously be somewhere else but I'm sure I will find one of the copy somewhere if I look hard enough.

I don't know what the fuss was about every one knows the length of a piece of string is Exactly twice the distance from the mid point to one end.

Aah, a rookie mistake like Davies according to the mathmetician's take on it each half would be infinite therefore impossible to quantify other than Infinity+Infinity

No such thing as infinity.Everything that exists is finite, including a piece of string.
