Exactly the same as last night. Got out 10mins sooner though which made for better running. 50 seconds faster than yesterday.
Thought I'd better put a quick post up here, before I get another"niggle" and wander back to the "Today's Injuries" thread!!
Managed 55 mins (to and From our club run). Ran steady, but REALLY enjoyed it after 3 days on a residential course with minimal running opportunities.........woo hoo!!
Lovely hour and half with Hopey, Sarah and a couple of others running around the Tower at Sunnyhurst.
Cracking night for it as well.
Thanks a lot Sarah.

Northern Cross Country. Second attempt at the taper with a rest day two days before the race. Felt great again and I think after all these years we've finally got the taper right. Absolutely delighted to finish 7th and 20secs off 3rd place - my aerobic fitness is pretty good now but I haven't done any structured track sessions yet and I've still got a bit of weight to shift from taking a break at Christmas and abusing my body LOL!! I start sessions again on Tuesday and have three good weeks mileage ahead now so I would hope that by the time my next race comes around (Inter Counties) I will be in very good shape, then its just a case of holding it or keeping progressing until London.
Sun
am 1h50 flat off road run, with a group of Sale/Alty runners. Fancied a fell run but legs needed a flat run after yesterdays race.
