Looking forward to seeing everyone in Llanberis and on the mountain. I'll try to manage a bit more than a grimace!
Been anxiously watching the weather forecast day by day and, touch wood, the forecast for Saturday has been improving from a running point of view - the BBC are today forecasting maximum temp of 17 degrees for Bangor - no wind and high humidity though. What's the forecast for Snowdon summit?
Various members of www.teamdolly.co.uk will be about taking pictures etc.
Check the site by monday if you want your picture .
Good luck !
Bit dark in Bangor at the moment .

Anyone know where you can get a shower tomorrow in Llanberis after the race? Cheers
Thanks for the quick replies - was wondering whether anyone would so late in the day. Looking forward to tomorrow, good luck to everyone!! :)
Any update on tomorrows weather for Snowdon?
warm, very humid, even the www.mwis.org.uk forecast for snowdonia warns of dehydration..
Pete's Eats sounds good. Just about to set off see you all later.
BBC still says high of 17 at Bangor - where do they get these forecasts from?

Gives a high for Betws y Coed of 21.
Goodness me - no one with any news yet, I thought Roadrunner first but not best time yet and Katie Ingram first lady.
Felt much hotter than the temperature guage indicated and didn't get any cooler the higher we went - I kept waiting for the sudden drop in temp or cool breeze but it didn't come - even in the clag at the top it was still warm.
Looked in the hospital tent at the finish, Ian Hughes was prostrate but seemed to be breathing, Neil Parry had taken a bit of a tumble but nothing like as dramatic as last year.
Photos from Alastair up at www.wfra.org.uk
Off to Ireland now and will inform you about my exploits up Croagh Patrick!
Have a great trip Welsh Harrier, i'm sure Snowdon is a good warm up for the Irish Exploits
Really warm day, great to see some familiar faces, never have I need a bottle of water as much as that, Pinno was up there taking photos too, saw the rescue helicopter so hope everyone is ok, had a large tea and carrot cake at Pete's Eats then onto prizegiving and a pasta meal with swoop
top day
Yes a fabulous day out at Snowdon managed to get 3/4 the way up before the race started. Tracey was sorted down near the road leading up to the cattle grid. Her photos are the first upload from the tarmac.
Roadrunner was way ahead of anyone at the 3/4 mark very impressive running indeed. Lots of forumites out today Roadrunner, Harrymoon, Swoop, Welsh Harrier, Mahar, Marvin, Ianr, Sarez plus Tatenhall and Helsby runners plus some of the Clywdian runners plus many many more. If I have missed anyone apologies.
Had a great time taking photos would have preferred to be running it but did manage a steady jog down stopping every so often to snap a few more runners.
Noticed a few injuries on the mountain today hope none to serious?
Also got to meet photographer Alastair Tye. A great day and well done to all who took part.
Lost count of the number of photos I took so bear with me whilst I get them uploaded may take a day or two.
The Snowdon photo link is:

first 50 uploaded.
Are you after the results WH? They're at: http://www.tdl.ltd.uk
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who suffered with the heat - at one point I was asked if I had fallen in a river earlier in the course. :) 15 mins behind schedule due to heat! Anyone else have a similar tale to tell?
Hot humid day, I think most (around me) were 3-4 minutes down on their expected time. I did 1:20:03, and finished with or ahead of people I expected to be with so felt I had a good run, but have ran up the hill faster on my own. Bit of 'drama' at the end, but that all seems fine now. There were 4 runners in the local hospital tonight with broken bones or dehydration, but all OK now well will be after a good recovery.
wow what a race. first time for me...but a little too hot
felt ok i suppose on the way up but the legs morphed into jelly by the time i got back onto the tarmac on the way down
lesson learned....train for it next year as short and fast races are not enough. finished in 1:32:45 though have been missed off the results
hope the injured runners are ok...got 'buzzed' by the rescue heli on the way down

More uploads thoughout the day got around 1400 photos to sort.
If you let me know your vest numbers I will add names to the photos
Well where do i start... enjoyed the climb and ran well, managed to lose concentration for a second and fell half way down while going well.I reckon i lost around 2 mins due to the fall.I was with the first lady all the way before i fell and she finished 2 mins ahead at end after i brushed myself down and limped home !
Weather was very hot with barely a breeze to cool things down.I feel like i've been to war this morning with 4" gash on my thigh and a sprained wrist, scuffed elbows etc.Just a point about the trailfoxes...they were great,no blisters although probably didn't descend quick enough after fall to get any blisters
Fairly pleased with yesterday's run. 324th/488 in 1.54.17.
1.30 slower than last year but was 3.50 slower at the top and improved my descent by 2.20.
Last year I was ranked 205 on the up and 400 on the down.
This year 252 on the up and 380 on the down.
Enjoyed the last bit when everyone else was falling apart and I passed loads on the run-in.
Last mile in 6.42!:eek::D
Well done Swoop..i did give you a shout as i passed you yesterday on the way down.I doubt you remember as i was probably one of many offering encouragement.
My descent wasn't as bad as maybe i thought although still lost time after fall.Mr consistancy 38th up 38 down ! Although it shows you what a good descent can do for you, looking at IainR's descent. He passed me about third of the way down...he had a storming descent, well done mate:)
Results now on wfra.org.uk
Just seen a few seconds footage on NW news showing Roadrunner at the summit but in a different vest to Pinno's pics - must have been last year's footage............??
Highlights programme on tonight at 7.30-8.30pm on Sky S4C Channel 134 also on S4C Freeview not sure what chanel number? Also usually repeated 3 or 4 times over the next few days if anyone misses it.
Watching it on my PC. Anyone managed to get any subtitles (for Andi as well as the Welsh!;))
Just finished watching. And I thought I felt bad on the way down. Anyone know if Math is feeling ok now?
Certainly a tad too warm for my likings yesetrday. Wouldn't have wanted to be out running for any longer than we were as I was hanging on grimly towards the end. The descent wasn't as rough as I was anticipating but that last stretch of downhill on the tarmac was mental.
Great support on the course including our very own Pinno & Paulh - sterling photography work as ever.
Do S4C have internet playback facility in a similiar manner to the BBC iplayer ?
Got some decent coverage of myself.A good review i thought, not that i understood any of it.A bonus of running with first lady for most of the way till my kissing gravel incident !:o
Matt roberts came hounding past me with IainR about a 3rd of way down.I overtook him again then i fell and was expecting to see him come back past me...now i know why he didn't,hope he is ok.Ian Hughes was also very dehydrated and in a similar state about 40 mins after the finish.
