Did not know what to expect as I have had lots of injury and trained erratically, also missed most of the training races to get an idea of form.
Pleased overall though would have liked to have broken four hours (sure I can do it now). Took it steady overall in anticpation of the last descent - felt tired going up Ingleborough, so I slowed down, lost 9 mins according the split time guide for 4 hours (I was 3 mins up at the Hill Inn). Got to top felt much better, saw a team mate ahead put my foot down and..... nothing happened, died the usual death people seem to coming of Ingleborough.
Think I will be retiring for a while now to get my biomechanics and ongoing injuries sorted.
Well organised day (though could have done with shoe changing stations between track and fell) , great atmosphere, great goody bag - chocolate was much enjoyed by family.
