Just dinked in a cheeky 35mins this afternoon! Looking forward to the relays tomorrow, big day for teams in blue and white!!!!
10k walk/run with Mini-Merry, his mum said he couldn't get round in an hour and a half, so we did it in 1hour 25mins, first child finisher too, with a bad ankle, well done son;)

A circuit from Bradfield up to Strines Road along to Dukes- Cowell House-Small field road.
8 miles around the sea front and back, too busy wud prefer off road but such is life at times
25.45 miles (could have been a bit less though as footpod is not calibrated) ran at a slow pace of about 5.5 - 6 miles an hour over undulating Herefordshireness and all of the Malverns except the last two hills.
Longest run to date.
20 miles yesterday roughly round the greensand way, from dorking down to Leith Tower, across to Holmbury Hill and then north-west to Guildford.

A game of squash. First in 4yrs. Forgot how much fun it was.
4 miles mostly off road, but have to run road to get to off road. So not the best course but a good steady start to this weeks training.
A cracking 10 mile loop up Plover & Pen-Y-Gent with our local Dales forumite. Good kick start to my fell training - just put my name down for leg 1 of the Calderdale relay in 7 weeks time :(
Oh Ady! You could have come with me and debs - up Hambledon and moleside way - Very wet - freezing and dog pulled me over on my backside once too! Ten miles i think but at least li didn't get dark on us!

12 hilly road miles around Bradfield/Ewden but there was a flat mile in the middle.
10 miles and a bit around Eastnor Deer park and British camp on Malverns if you've been to the "Big Chill" festival you will know where I mean! NB: Lovely morning. :D

Was a bit too last minute to meet the club run on the bike this morning so opted for an 8 mile run over hill, moor and track from home. Good to be running again and can at last dare to open the FRA diary to see what events I can squeeze in.
Met up with Shaunaneto this morning for a gruelling 16.2.miles and 3,000ft. in around 3 hours
we ran pretty much all the route barring 3-400m.
Strines pub-Back tor-bottom Abbey brook up the monster climb to Wet stones-High stones- along to Margery Hill down the climb of the MS along to Abbey brook back up this to Sheepfold clough and home via Back tor and Strines Moor ridge.
Thick clag on the top but the cold wind was slight.

After a frustrating week of not being able to train (because of some infection/bug type thingie) just done a lovely little 4 miler along the coast at a canny clip....hopefully will be ready to rock for sunday's carlisle half now....off for a banana and hazelnut smoothie :)
