Yes, it's all straight forward. The main tricky bit is a section at the top of the miners track at Caseg y Fraith to the cairns which mark the top of the miners track dropping down the other side. From Bwlch Tryfan to Caseg y Fraith is a bit sketchy in places.
The other section is where you leave the miners track as it crosses a wall low down, then head around to Pen Y Pass swining around the LHS of the llyn and the RHS of Moel Berfedd. There's a trod developed now and this is marked near PyP to aid. Worth a recce though.

I had intended to spend a weekend recceing the route, but the only weekend pass I can get from the Mrs is when I'll be doing Fairfield :D
