Today's courgettes

A most exciting 10 minutes, as I have just picked tonights courgettes by headtorch, wow, can life get any wilder :eek: :eek:.

12 harvested
4 eaten.

The Missus kept an eye on me in case I fell over.

Wow, that IS the summum of excitement :D

The carnage on this thread is wearing me out. Think I'll calm down by taking a nice read through the Code of Conduct thread!:D

None tonight as leaving the babies to grow on another day, looking for a bumper crop tomorrow. Having very large whiskey to drown my dissapointment :(.

And I've just had an excellent meal in the Pump House on the side of Bristol Harbour - battered smoked haddock fillet, fat chips cut very square and stacked in a tower like Jenga, and 'bashed' peas - their description, not mine - and not a courgette in sight!

Just pick them small, chop 'em up and throw them in with the rest of the salad veg.

Courgette curry last night. Two green ones sliced, and one yellow one cut into 'fingers'. Lots of ginger, fenugreek, fresh coriander and cardamoms - Lovely! Ideal post-race food for Mrs Noel after her Eccles Pike exploits.

I'm having the left-overs today at work. I doubt I'll be popular with my work colleagues.:o

Thin slices (lengthways), grilled on hot griddle served with dressing made with olive oil and lemon juice ;)

An excellent recipe, tried it this evening and had the thumbs-up from both of us :).

I fought the triffids in my garden... and have nothing to show for it, apart from some blackberries :(
