None tonight as leaving the babies to grow on another day, looking for a bumper crop tomorrow. Having very large whiskey to drown my dissapointment.

So tomorrow is the Great Baby Courgette Massacre of Twylch - they'll be telling tales of 20th August for years to come, striking fear in the heart of seedlings everywhere...

And I've just had an excellent meal in the Pump House on the side of Bristol Harbour - battered smoked haddock fillet, fat chips cut very square and stacked in a tower like Jenga, and 'bashed' peas - their description, not mine - and not a courgette in sight!
Just pick them small, chop 'em up and throw them in with the rest of the salad veg.
