You're weighing yourself far too often.

137.5 for me :D. Not much but it's going in the right direction :-)
Missed last week’s weigh in but this week I am 10 stone 13.5 pound so going the right way still which is good. Watching what I eat seems to be working. I allow myself a little treat each day (a couple of strips of chocolate) but otherwise I have cut out all snacks like biscuits, cake, crisps etc.
Ooops, forgot to weigh myself this morning... so lets use last weeks weigh in: 62.5 kilo's :) I probably have lost a bit more since then, as I am back on the bike, but hard to tell without weighing myself...
Majorca training camp next week should help for a healthy reduction in weight between now and the next weigh in. When is that? :)
64.8kgs so a wee bit less than when I started and less than last weigh in so in the right direction. Amazing considering I was away this weekend so ate and drank more than normal! I know I eat more carbs than maybe I should, but I dont eat meat or fish very often so most of my diet is veg curries and other veg dishes, and given its winter a lot of those are root veg. I also have a lot of soup (again veg based). Last weekend whilst away I had quite a lot of meat so maybe protein is better for me in terms of dieting, however, I know that when it comes to running and training I need those carbs, I have tried before to train on protein and it just doesnt work for me. I am not allowing myself any snacks, and trying to stick to 1,000 calories on non running days (these are days when I weight train). I can't get down to the 500 a day diet I would be eating the desk!
68kg - still not running due to injury and without this tabulation doubt i cd keep to resisting temptation to eat between meals
so appreciate effort you are putting in re tabulating the weightwatchers progress
Gone up to 65.7 hoping some of that is muscle as trained a fair bit but also ate a fair bit to compensate ;-)
Another half a kilo this weigh in but far from wasting away, still a fair bit to go yet... :o
actually just looked at the table and i have gone down a teeny weeny bit ....but still canny way to go..... running thurs, friday, sat and sunday will hopefully assist if i can just stop eating like there is no tomorrow! (hormones)
think i'll set myself a mini goal of getting down to 63.5 by next weigh in which would mean i lost a total of 7 pounds since start, would be well chuffed with that
Totally forget about weigh in! I'll post my update in the morning.
11st 4lb for me. Right direction. Back on the drink - might be the answer!
I'm 5' 11" approx 12.5st and I'm getting away with ~1500 calories Monday -> Thursday. Not a hope in hell I'll do it at the weekend (Approx 1900 ~ 2100 calories) . But then I'm more active at the weekends.
Snacking is the big issue. Trying to find something that's low calories. In work I go through a lot of baby carrots. Virtually no calories. Celery is even lower but I'm not that desperate yet :D
I weigh myself as a matter of habit every morning; readsomewhere that people who weigh themselves regularly control there weightbetter. What no sh1t Sherlock!!!! Lol :w00t:
1500 cal seems low for a man, I have not checked my calorie intakefor years but when I was a bit of a gym bunny I am sure I was on 3000 a day.
ATB
Tahr
I've read similar Tahr. However, what I read specified that once a week was fine. What gets measured gets managed.
Ideally the same day at the same time each week.
There's a Doctor on this thread somewhere, I'm sure he can clarify!?
For weight loss I would not have thought so. When I doing some decent marathon training I'll be on a lot more than 1500 calories. I'm just trying to reach my target weight before I get into serious training. I have a 25km trail run at the end of March so come middle February I like to be clocking up a few 15 mile runs which will require higher calorie intake at the weekends.
I will join back in on this soon - getting some scales off my parents at the weekend... slightly worried what they're going to say after I've not weighed myself in about 3 weeks!
Sorry I'm a day late, was going to weigh in yesterday but flight north was cancelled and had to travel by coacj so only got home at 1:30am this morning.
Anyway enough of all that, weigh in thi morning was 94kg so another kg off.
I have done the A to Oos! Has Finbar done the bottom half?
Not bad for me I done a 10 mile run on Tuesday night then weighted myself on Wednesday morning and I was 72 Kg. I was not convinced by that as I thought I must still be a bit dehydrated from the run but weight myself again this morning and I was a touch lower again. So I am claiming 72 Kg
No change for me 81.7. I had definately gained and now on the way back down.
Pretty much 12st 4lb I think. I'll weigh at home in the morning before a cuppa and breakie. If there's a massive difference I'll re-post! Weighed on works scales which I think have been fiddled with!
You missed mine Pat. Currently 163.6 lbs and 6.6 lbs to go. Thanks
This 'lark' is only a simple little thing but it does work. Well done to everybody.. Seems the motto here is slow and steady weight loss..
You missed my update Dr.P, I'm now 138.4lbs but I don't mind if you don't put it on the table because it will make my next weight loss look more dramatic.
Sorry Dr P I'm late - 145.5lbs = -2lbs steady away!
Anyone know what Kcal on my digi scales means says im approx 1700 Kcal???
had em a year n still dont know what it means.
CHEERS.
Finally got some new scales, but apparently they "weigh light" - other people have noticed this too - so apparently I am now 61.7kg, with "new" target being 60kg (according to my scales). The only problem is now I can never weigh myself on any other scales without thinking I have put on at least half a stone...
Cheers
Rach
This is one of the reasons I have to work hard to get to my weight goal. Im running 5 time a weeks too! Golden Syrup with lemon sticky pudding. MrRTS loves his cooking. Bloody hell :o

My Monday morning Weight-in arrived again:confused: and I need a good talking too. Came in at 78.0 Kg even which is a whopping great 0.3 Kg drop in the last two weeks
At this rate I'll be retired before I reach my target weight.
So a major ticking off will be given to one self for the next two weeks.
162.2 pre pancakes. I managed to shave another pound off this week probably due to the Trog.
Minus one pound for me too :closed:
