actually just looked at the table and i have gone down a teeny weeny bit ....but still canny way to go..... running thurs, friday, sat and sunday will hopefully assist if i can just stop eating like there is no tomorrow! (hormones)

think i'll set myself a mini goal of getting down to 63.5 by next weigh in which would mean i lost a total of 7 pounds since start, would be well chuffed with that

11st 4lb for me. Right direction. Back on the drink - might be the answer!

I'm 5' 11" approx 12.5st and I'm getting away with ~1500 calories Monday -> Thursday. Not a hope in hell I'll do it at the weekend (Approx 1900 ~ 2100 calories) . But then I'm more active at the weekends.

Snacking is the big issue. Trying to find something that's low calories. In work I go through a lot of baby carrots. Virtually no calories. Celery is even lower but I'm not that desperate yet

I weigh myself as a matter of habit every morning; readsomewhere that people who weigh themselves regularly control there weightbetter. What no sh1t Sherlock!!!! Lol :w00t:

1500 cal seems low for a man, I have not checked my calorie intakefor years but when I was a bit of a gym bunny I am sure I was on 3000 a day.

I've read similar Tahr. However, what I read specified that once a week was fine. What gets measured gets managed.

Ideally the same day at the same time each week.

There's a Doctor on this thread somewhere, I'm sure he can clarify!?

For weight loss I would not have thought so. When I doing some decent marathon training I'll be on a lot more than 1500 calories. I'm just trying to reach my target weight before I get into serious training. I have a 25km trail run at the end of March so come middle February I like to be clocking up a few 15 mile runs which will require higher calorie intake at the weekends.

I will join back in on this soon - getting some scales off my parents at the weekend... slightly worried what they're going to say after I've not weighed myself in about 3 weeks!

A few beers while watching the footy or after a fell race is my achilles heel. Sunday will be the big test. I have the Mickleden Straddle followed by Man City v Liverpool. It could be the perfect storm for me

Sorry I'm a day late, was going to weigh in yesterday but flight north was cancelled and had to travel by coacj so only got home at 1:30am this morning.

Anyway enough of all that, weigh in thi morning was 94kg so another kg off.
