Evening people :D
Mountain Goatess did you do the Yorkie Three Peaks yesterday? just been looking at your Fetch info. Well done. How long did it take you?
G'night Pinno.
Morning all,i'm off work until a week on wednesday :D
morning all.
Nother lovely day.
I appreciate them sooo much more when I'm sat in the office looking out the window
bliddy ell is quiet an all.
Have bliddy wuk to do.
Thou only 30 mins now, the sun is still shining and out for a run.
Trying to decide whether to be sensible and run on the road, which is boring or go out into fells, which will no doubt result in injury!
Hmmmmm:confused:
Evening all. Sat here doing a bit of work with Barbra Streisand playing in the background one of the todays downloads.
Evening Mountain Goatess, Calf is still keeping me from running hoping to try light run over over the weekend. Will get the mountain bike out on Thursday and Friday night. Got a week off next week.
Downloaded lots of stuff over the last week or two got Maddona's new album not listened to it yet. I listen to virtually any type of music.
Done any running this week or are you legs aching from the weekend?
Did 7 and a half miles on the treadmill tonight, just trying out my new trainers, got some asics gel kayano for general stuff. My legs weren't aching much at all after the w'end, must be getting used to it! ;)
I have gone off the Asics stuff of late and tend to go for Nike trainers now bought a pair of Kyotee Trail shoes and road shoes both are the comfiest I have come across and very light. :)
Do you go to a gym?? I use the JJB locally in the winter months but we have a pretty good gym at work I use in the afternoons over the summer months.
Well sometimes it is the only option for me as I don't like running around locally on the roads.
It's hard to do anything at all sometimes when you work long shifts, it is boring but my I pod helps me out and at the end of the day it's better than nought! ;)
Evening multiterrainer how are you? I love running with my ipod on the roads or treadmill.
Evening Pinno -I'm generally fine, slowly getting back to some semblance of fitness again. Afraid I've never been one to run with music on although I will be tempted next time I'm in the gym - that said I tend to spend more time on the x-trainer than the treadmill.
Hope the calf problem sorts itself out sooner rather than later.
I do have some great hilly routes nearby but it's about 20 min drive to get there so they're saved for when I have a half day or day off.
I do run on the country lanes nearby which are 'undulating' but being on my own I always have a slight worry in the back of mind of strange men lurking around...but I don't seem to have that worry when I'm in the hills for some reason.
Evening all:)
evening harrymoon, How did you do tonight just posted on the race thread.
