Will do! ;)
How do you girls wear your bags? I mean is it round the waist or over the hips?
There I was getting all technical with my Inov8 jobber and it gets right on my nerves.....joggles about all over when worn on the hips and digs in my ribs when round the waist. :(
Can't believe I could have gotten a nice girlie pink Roxy one....and wouldn't have looked out of place....they are obviously the right thing to wear if Our Master has one......and it would have matched my vest too!
Yer a reet bunch o' POOFS :p
What is this place the freaking Swop Shop! :D
I'll be loaning Merrys underpants soon.....oops I can't he is a Commando! :p
Well I am not very self conscious and dont mind what I or anyone else I run with looks like, however I draw the line at running with something looking like this on the fells:

:D
Not looking too bad from the metoffice mountain forecast
and elsewhere it saysQuote:
Saturday
Another bright day with sunnier intervals and variable cloud. Isolated showers will continue to occur, falling as snow above 450m, but many places staying dry throughout the day. Winds remaining strong to gale force.
Sounds like shorts weather to me.:DQuote:
Full winter clothing, footwear and equipment are essential for anyone venturing out onto the fells.
i dont care what you lot are doing but I shall be wrapped up warm with all extremities well wrapped and out of sight.
as for food was going to bring the barbi but the gas bottle is a bit heavy so sarnies it is with snecklifter in my hydration bladder
hic
Don't forget your ice axes people:D

Note the shorts of course. But no ski poles; ski poles are for real wimps.
I had another dream that i didn't make it to XOTF last night, this time i slept in. Is this a bad omen? am i destined to die in a pile up on the A64?
More importantly DJ, do you have the flexible crampons to go with the Inov8's??? I have but have never used them... and it doesn't look as if I will be using them this weekend either :(
Although I am feeling better today. I have finally managed to sleep, for the first time since last Saturday... Pain and fever slowly subsiding... functionality back in my left arm, left leg still dodgy and painful...:(
A girl mate is dropping round a selection of tutus tommorrow for me to choose from, kinda glad the pink one's tatty as by the sounds of it there won't be a shortage of pink.
Snow forecast for weekend
I ran a hilly five miles around the lanes last night and my knee has now near as damn it officially recovered :D. Hopefully now I will be able to run rather than stagger round XOTF.
Starting the journey north in 5 minutes so this is me signing off 'til XOTF.
Amex, please don't change the arrangements now as I've been warned about loitering in Keswick High Street in skimpies before and the Rozzers have long memories:o
See you all soon.
Hugs,
Dunno if you saw Amex but I'll run you to the halfway point in me car before the start. Should be there in time.
Cool, I'm setting off from Nelson @ 7.30 so won't be a problem. PM me your number if you like and I'll let you know if there's any probs.
Oooh! Exciting!:D
I hope this surprise Amex is planning is a lift back to the start.
SS I'm leaving Settle at 7:30 ish hopefully and planning to have a pre XOTF fry up (the first in ages) at Tebay en route. I'll probably be at Tebay services at 8:30 if you're (or anybody else is come to that) in the vicinity.
My childcare are both poorly with flu so i am going to have to cancel.
Latest Lakeland weather.
