Went walking in really great snow with the boys on Addingham Moorside.
Thought they would love the thigh high to a four year old snow but of course they still moaned about having to walk.

......and it's snowing again here. Going to be another slippy week.
Todays training 3rd Oct (ok I was out by a week:o)
Surprised no-one's restarted this thread - a good dusting here in Leeds - no doubt plenty elsewhere:)
MT, we've been doing Snow elsewhere:

Don't talk to me about snow . No gritters out this afternoon and it took me 3 hours to drive back from Skipton to Settle - thats 14 miles and I could have run it in two in my work suit!!!
Also posted in the other 'snow' thread
Just been to pick up my daughter from the station. The snow is coming down quite hard now and the temperature is -3. First time I have driven in the snow with an automatic quite interesting with all that torque
There was a prang just before Hellifield I think which led me to turn off at coniston cold to go via Otterburn. That was a 'fun' detour on its own but then when I got to Hellifield the road was solid ice and the traffic had to crawl along. The gritters were out eventually so it should be okay tomorrow.
Is this snow thread more popular than the other one?
Or should i be on here?
Just looked at the weather forecast for the next few days, and its going to WELL cold!! :)
Temps down to -6 and max of 0 degrees, then for Xmas eve, max temp -3!!!! Wow :)
Oh and more snow!! Glad all my traveling is out of the way now.
Just been for a walk with Ernie and its milder now than at 3pm this afternnoon. Very little breeze and drizzling. NO SNOW yet
Tons of snow here this morning :D. The hills will just be magnificent when I 'wade' out for my run later this morning.

Still coming down - over 9 inches deep I'd say. I can't get my car to move more than 9 inches either

Just wondering why I didn't persuade her mother to go too...:D
We have at last had some... it is very little, but as I found to my detriment, prone to having black ice underneath it... Nearly crashed the car into the stockroom at work this morning  and as the front of it has been replaced twice now this year, I can really do without that
May just leave it put where it is tonight and walk home. Came in the car, as I had the work computer with me at home because I was ill last week and because I am still not 100%, otherwise I would have come on the crosser...
The view of Hatterall Hill, shrouded in cloud and covered in a powdering of snow, from the Arts Centre...
i am snowed in at Bentham and it keeps snowing in flurries. first time in 10 years not made it to work
I always make it to work, even on a couple occasions when we had half a metre of snow... I am so close by, I can just run or walk to work :)
Im going sledging for the 1st time in about 10 years.:D
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I want to go sledging too!:)
also stuck at home although think that I could get out now. Car about half a mile away though. Starting to get fit trekking up the 600 ft climb from the village - full christmas shop to bring up later on by rucsac.
