The Sexton days are here again. :(
We're going out here. Wait and see. No doubt about it.
The most ridiculous rule in football. How is it fair that they get 120 mins to get an away goal but we only get 90?
Mind you In an ideal world you wouldn't be having to worry about that after two legs against the team bottom of the league...
So it's the bitter blue noses in the final if we can hang on here. They've only scored around 110 goals this season. Probably take moyes 3 seasons to do that. :(
Was that four missed/saved penalties from Man Utd in the shoot-out tonight? Amazing.
Man Utd pushed out of football rich list top three

Manchester United has dropped out of the top three in Deloitte's football rich list for the first time.
Amazing. It's not often I can say Man Utd could learn something from Bradford City!

moyes didn't seem very happy at the press conference when they asked about Matta, did he not know?
The one Silver lining to last night was it's ruined the blue nosed b*stards wembly trip..."We'll give the munichs a good hiding at wembley. "
Now they have to spend £££ to watch a f**king exhibition match.
f**k em!
I'm glad we got knocked out. Imagine us against Citeh in the final? Moyes sitting there making defensive subs at 4-0 down
f**k that
Morning Iain

Wont be long now

I still want you to make the top 6 Iain as i think United in the Europa League will be somewhat reminiscent of our one season sojourn in the third tier of English Football.
Away games at anonymous locations in crumbling stadiums, full of curious locals who haven't seen their local team in the flesh for many a moon. On the pitch, journeymen pros all of a sudden find a few extra gears to their game in the knowledge that, as far as their pedestrian careers are concerned, this is very much their Cup Final.
I desperately hope you can put the afterburners on and finish sixth as it'll make fantastic viewing watching you struggle on Channel 4 on Thursday nights.
My sister who is a United fan dropped her United Mug yesterday and it smashed on the kitchen floor.

"Just like that". Gus Poyet taunts David Moyes with his Tommy Cooper impression.

Whilst watching the National Television Awards last night, I discovered the existence of Fernanda Lima
Ding dong!
If anyone missed it last night Sky Sports 2 is just about to show De Gea's howler and United's Carry on Penalties performance again. Also repeated at 7.00 and 10.00 if you want to keep watching it over and over:D
Even more hilarious second time round :D:D:D:D
Last nights attendance 71,000 including 9,000 from Sunderland. What's going on there, I thought the capacity was 75,000
I could understand not selling out when Fergie used the League cup as a youth training scheme but on Wednesday it was the last realistic chance of winning any thing this year, a strong team out, the tie was in the balance and City waiting in the final. Obviously not an attractive enough proposition for 10,000 or so of the regulars though
Still 71,000
4000 down
In reality it will be lower. United, like most teams, don't do actual attendance counts.. they do tickets sold... so season tickets, corporate buyers.. for a league game its rarely full, yet always gets a full attendance, because they still do sell almost every seat.
barmy army!
Fine we're on a charge...
I think part of it is you dont expect to be able to get tickets.. so you dont plan on going, so once people know tickets are available again it'll recover.
But United offered tickets to all secondary school kids for 5 quid for that game once they realised tickets were available.. nice touch.
At times we have to be more of a family club like City.. OK they took millions from a human rights abusing, corrupt politician... but he was just a loveable rogue...
Its crazy season time.. first perpetual moaner wenger that Chelsea selling a player for 37 million is on fair on their title rivals...
But then Martinez comes out with a cracker...
Stevenage (bottom of the 3rd tier of English football) V Everton (top 5 in the premiership).. Stevenage are favourites as they are at home... the home team is always favourites, even a lower league team against a team of internationals..
