4 mile run down the canal - very pleasant :)
1hr on the roads including 2 x 500ft climb.
Stolly, you may have to brush up on your maths matey. Doing 4.54 miles in 30 mins works out at 6.36 per mile pace wise in my book? or perhaps I need to brush up on my maths? Not sure how you have worked this out?
Tonight I did 5.3 miles tonight at a slightly slower pace. I felt quite tired tonight and have run each day this week. Think it may be taking its toll time for an early night.
Not so much my bad maths as my crap appreciation of running pace times - I read your 6.36 pace as being miles per hour (which is not far off a regular pace in the hills) when in fact you were quoting 6.36 minute miles. Apologies my mistake.
You still overcooked the use of decimal places though :)
Scugdale to Clay Bank and back on the Cleveland Way. 15 mile
x2 1025ft
x2 1388ft
x2 1427ft
x2 1384 ft
Another cold, windy and grey day but at least the rain stayed away.
Only a short 3 miler up and around Pex Hill and back tonight. Quite a chilly evening with rain due anytime.
Wasn't gonna run today after 2 sessions and a medium distance run in last 3 day had made ankles very sore - went to beach for a walk - ended up doing about half an hour running through the water - most enjoyable run in ages! (feet are still freezing now though!)
I took my ten year old running club out yesterday. We did relays round the woods, in the mud. Then hill reps up a short steep slope.
As we ran back, past the beck, three of them were discussing how they could just lie down in the water.
I told them they had just qualified as proper fell runners.
10 mile on the roads this morning in very windy conditions.
Good run up a windy Beamsley Beacon this morning. Seemingly no after-effects from 9hours on my feet last Saturday, which is good news, with PPP next weekend.
Cycled from Clitheroe to Settle and back Im told its about 30miles. I'm enjoying the cycling at the minute and the roads are pretty quiet up that way. I like cycling for the fact the we always seem to have a brew and a cake in varous cafes throughout the ride.
I'm planning on cycling and watching the three peaks next week, which should be fun, looking forward to seeing a few forumites on route, who I have not seen for a while.
Jamie

1hr on roads. Plan 4 on Mon, 20mins on Tue then rest up til PPP. Sorted.
Today - about 7.5 miles/1000 feet on & around Baildon Moor - from Shipley Glen/Bracken Hill Centre to trig point -down to Hawksworth Beck back via old White house pub to roadside trig then up via various paths to BM trig again back down to car past the two caravan sites.
1 hour circuit training. Only took a few minutes to discover just how weak my upper body is and what poor core strength i have.
Burpees!!!!!
I bloody hate this exercise-after only 20 i was completely knackered!:(
Favourite short route through Ashworth Valley knocking 13 secs off my PB.
So chuffed i could dance (if i wasnt knackered from the run:D).
easy recovery 4 on undulating road and trail to get yesterday out of my legs and my mind. felt better but still windy.
Jason
anni waltz in 2 hours 6 minutes yesterday, nice walk round the causey pike route today to clear legs and head :D
Just a steady 60mins today (approx 9miles). Feeling good!
an hour and ten today - nice new little route down the river - running in town is not always so bad
everything was against me though, nearly got run over, fell over and grazed my knees :o and then all the grips fell out my hair so I looked like a scarecrow
Back to it after London, 4.5 miles easy, legs felt very heavy
50mins or 8 miles steady state
Just a steady 5.5 mile tonight on the trail paths around Pex Hill in lovely sunny conditions.
12*400s ,jog back recovery , pain of 400s is addictive in a strange sort of way.
Well I went for a gentle hill run to unwind my legs following the AW on Saturday. Fortunately/unfortunately (delete as appropriate) I bumped into another hill runner on the Pennine Bridleway and we joined up, with me then being obliged to put some not especially enjoyable effort in on the climbs and suffering with some serious thigh burn in the process. A great 5 miler or so though and I'm feeling much better for it now.
The tapering  for the 3P continues.........
Yesterday - 7.5 miles - road down to towpath from Rodley Nature Reserve to Apperley Bridge back over canal & river into Calverley woods including up the cutting then road through Calverley drop down field paths to towpath again road then up into Coal Hill woods to home.
6 x 1200m at lunch yesterday, pretty slow, did them off just sub 4:30, with 90s stationary rest, so 6 minute sets. Would normally expect to be 15s or so quicker. Nice session though.
The 400's is a killer session. We do them off 1 min stationary rest. No cheating then, no hiding, I find with the jog recovery I tend to slow down the jog when tired. Best in a group as you get dragged along and chase people down.
