Re: stuarts snowdon record goi
Good comments, SJ and clearly Robbie Bryson is still an awesome climber in his 50s. As he himself might respond: "I dont look bad for a 48 year old!!" Not content with one insult (Only joking, I'm sure they're unintended!) you say that the little Italian would surely have won. Maybe, but if Rolando's a little Italian, I'd hate to meet a big one....................!
Re: stuarts snowdon record goi
Malky,
Insults indeed they weren't!! I read on the website that Bryson was in his 50's.:o
As for the Italian, I always call Italians little for some reason!!

SJ seems to be on a roll for insulting people! Get some glasses SJ!!
Roadrunner, will you be back next year if all is well and the diary is clear to try and win the title back off Robbie?
Also, whilst I'm on here can I just say well done to Gwynfor Owen the 1st M55+ for a brilliant run considering he's supposed to have retired from running following his operation about two years ago. Gwynfor has had either a replacement knee or hip. He's also one of the many unsung heroes who is involved with arranging the race and was busy clearing up the barriers etc after the race whilst most of us were relaxing with a pint! Da iawn Gwynfor, a Llanberis legend!

Agree - seen Tim run 3 Welsh Open Races and he's been quick - would of been great to see him run on Sat. The Scottish runners were brilliant - lets hope there's some good youngsters coming through the ranks for Wales!

We talked about getting to the summit as much under an hour as possible.
I later spoke to you in the Vic and told you I missed the 1:30 by seconds, turns out that I missed it on the clock but my chip time was 1:29.58!!! couldn't be happier!
I had a sprint to the line where I passed 3 runners and wondered if I was being petty, turns out it was well worth it.
Hope you have a speedy recovery. Next year eh
Hi Ady - yep remember it well (defo didnt have concussion!) - It was good to work with someone else on the way up - think you have to run your own race - but some "pushing" is always good.
Made up that you got a sub 1.30 - you like me were on the same journey i think - hope you had a great night afterwards. Sprinting at the end is brilliant because a) you got your time and b) you had the strength to do it...this means c) sub 1.25 next year!
Well done to all - sounds like everyone has had a great race and exceeded their expectations - which is good to hear.
Ironically Im hoping my next run/race is on Snowdon!
Re: stuarts snowdon record goi
Afternoon and apologies for being such a buffoon yesterday, no intent honest, it's just not im me to insult anyone, one of them days where the concentration wasn't there.
As for Andi's little girl, I knew he had a girl but I was distracted when I was writing it up and only noticed when Andi posted. Sorry again Andi.

I wouldn't worry about it, I have been calling her much worse today already!!!
Re: stuarts snowdon record goi
Watching Chemweno trying to descend reminded me of the first time I ran down a hill. Poor guy looked slightly terrified. I reckon if he put a bit of practice in though he could be quite good. He said he wasn't coming back but I'm sure Steve Edwards twittered the other day that he would return in 2011. We shall see.
Re: stuarts snowdon record goi
I reckon 'slightly terrified' is the default setting for coming down off Snowdon, especially the older I get.
